This 12 lite transom has a wooden sash containing 11 7/8" x 7 1/4" amber "hammered" privacy glass panes. Measuring 82 3/4"(W) x 20"(H), this transom has weathered white paint with hints of pale pink on one side and aged pale yellow-brown paint on the other. It is in good condition but is missing 2 panes of glass. The glazing putty may need to be replaced as it has begun to degrade. This transom was salvaged from the former Moose Lodge in Jamestown, New York. This building, built in the late 1800's, was previously the mansion of John and Sarah Galloway, parents of the fabled "Lady in Glass". In 1932, the property was acquired by the local Moose Lodge Chapter which incorporated multiple additions to the grand structure.
