Description

This cast-iron valve handwheel is an excellent accessory to add a bit of industrial or steampunk flare to any project or space! Coated in flaked black paint, this wheel has a 24" outer diameter, 6 spokes, a 1 5/8" grip, and a 1 1/8" tapered square hub. Walworth, the manufacturer, is embossed into the front of the handle. Most of the paint has flaked and chipped from the wheel, revealing surface rust throughout.
This handwheel was salvaged from the Mayor J Harold Grady, a 6000 GPM (gallon per minute) fireboat built in 1960, serving Baltimore, Maryland, from 1961 until it was decommissioned in 2007. This fireboat and items from it are featured on Season 10, Episode 8, of the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
Weight: 57 lbs.
Item Measurements: 24(L) x 2.5(W) x 24(H)
