Description

This beautiful, solid wood door was salvaged from a circa 1885 Italianate style house in Ohio. The door features a solid pine, 4-panel construction, rich stained finish and functional wavy glass transom. The jamb measures 33 3/4" x 97 1/2".

Details: The door, measuring 32"(W) x 80 1/4"(H), has 4 raised panels. One side of the unit is coated in white paint, while the opposing side has a rich stain, highlighting the exquisite character of the pine. A row of 4 beads runs across the mull covers on both sides of the jamb. The original set of white porcelain knobs and painted brass Eastlake style steeple hinges are included with this unit.

Condition: Very good. Minor surface scuffs, scratches and nicks consistent with the age of the piece. Glass is intact.

History: Salvaged from a circa 1885 Italianate style house in Barnesville, Ohio, this door, along with other items from the house, are featured on Season 10, Episode 5, of the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
