Solid, Double Deep Basin Fireclay Sink salvaged from the Peacock Laundry of Salem, Virginia. On the back of the sink, embossed in the clay is the following: Fords, Pat'd October 6, 1914. The manufacture date of the sink is 1931. There is one large chip on the right side edge and noticable wear on the center basin divider. The Peacock Laundry opened in 1935 and closed shop completely in 2012. The laundry is featured in season 8, episode 7 of the DiY network show "Salvage Dawgs". Weight: 263 lbs., 16H x 26.5D x 42W
