Crosby AA ½ lb subdiv. gauge used to measure up to 60 psi pressure of steam discharge produced by a hot well pump in a steam plant. This gauge has a steel body and glass lens. It is attached to a metal panel with a plaque above the instrument that reads "Hot Well Pump Discharge". This gauge was salvaged from a 7000 square-foot steam power plant, built in 1985, in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Prior to the 1970's, this plant provided heat and electricity for various hotels, cottages as well as the small commercial area in the town. This plant will be restored and converted to a pub and brewery. The Pinehurst steam plant is featured in season 8, episode 3 of the DiY Network show "Salvage Dawgs".
