Antique oak sign "Robinson Unique Sifter", This sign was salvaged from the Cosby Bros. Mill in Grottoes, Virginia. Built in 1900, this mill produced flour for over 7 decades. The mill's water source was the South River in Augusta County and the mill ran 24 hours a day during harvest season. Under the logo, the sign reads "Robinson MFG Co.".
The sign is 125"L x 2.25"x 18.75"H, 106 lbs.
The Cosby Bros. Mill is featured in season 8, episode 8, of the DIY Network show "Salvage Dawgs".
