This fantastic pair of arched steel industrial doors were salvaged from a cotton factory in North Carolina. They stand 8.45 feet tall and are full of urban industrial detail, featuring steel clad siding and an interesting arched top. The allover condition includes surface scuffs, dings and patina earned over years in an industrial setting.
Although the doors were originally designed as fire doors, they do not meet current fire codes. They are painted a vivid blue on one side and brown on the opposite side.
History: The doors were salvaged from the Washington Mills Cotton Factory in Mayodan, North Carolina. Featured in Season 1, Episode 2 of the DIY Network show "Salvage Dawgs".
Condition: The allover condition includes surface scuffs, dings and patina earned over years in an industrial setting. Some damage is present where the hinges were attached - see photos.
