Description

This 32.25" x 78.25" barn door was salvaged from the "Ludwig Mansion", a 1949 estate in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The solid wood door features a sturdy Z-style cross brace, supporting the sturdy wood panel. The opposite side of the door is finished bead board.

Condition: Good condition. Surface scuffs, scratches, and patina present, as expected with age and use. We have multiples and most have their hardware but some parts may be missing. Feel free to inquire before ordering!

History: The doors were salvaged from a barn on the property of the Esther Ludwig Farm and Mansion in Hamburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The mansion was removed as the property was prepared for a new development. Items from this job are featured on Season 7, Episode 2 of the DIY Network show "Salvage Dawgs".
