This 72" long, cherry counter or table top features warm, reddish-brown cherry hues with a fine, satin texture. The counter top is laminated with an Edge Grain configuration and square edge with a natural, satin finish.

Edge Grain butcher block, also known as "Long Grain” or “Side Grain”, is the most durable grain orientation. This butcher block orientation is when the hardwood strips are laminated together in parallel. Each stave is full length with the hardwood turned on its edge with the length of the grain visible. This makes a beautiful, durable surface for food prep, baking, dough rolling, and more.
