Circular Expanded Metal Grate



This circular expanded steel grate is perfect for repurposing! Measuring 29" in diameter, this piece is perfect for making a wall hanging, table, or anything else you can think of. Composed of a piece of expanded steel mounted to a circular frame with an inner lip measuring 27 1/2" in diameter, this piece is coated in worn and faded metallic paint showing rust in areas where the paint is no longer present. This grate is in good condition structurally. Finish varies slightly per piece. This was salvaged from the former Moose Lodge in Jamestown, New York. This building, built in the late 1800's, was previously the mansion of John and Sarah Galloway, parents of the fabled "Lady in Glass". In 1932, the property was acquired by the local Moose Lodge Chapter which incorporated multiple additions to the grand structure. This building, and items from it, are featured on Season 11, Episode 1, of the Diy Network show, "Salvage Dawgs". Weight: 6 lbs.
