Description

This cast aluminum cooling fan blade was salvaged from a former tobacco plant in Petersburg, Virginia. It stands 51 inches in length and features authentic metal patina and a cool, airfoil shape. Full of potential for repurposing! The blade was manufactured by Marley Co of Kansas City, Missouri. The manufacturer's stamp, "Marley Co. K.C. Mo" and "Forward Edge and rotation" with directional arrow are stamped upon the blade. The blade has a shaft at the base with a hole in the bottom for mounting to a hub.

Condition: This piece is in very good condition with minor wear, patina and weathering from exposure to the elements over a long period.

History: This fan blade was salvaged from the former Brown and Williamson Tobacco plant in Petersburg, Virginia, as it is readied to be converted into housing. The tobacco plant and items from it are featured on Season 11, Episode 8, of the DIY Network Show, "Salvage Dawgs".
