6 panel door in jamb with brass hardware. Both sides of this door have natural finish. This door was salvaged from a teacherage, built in 1920, in Henderson, North Carolina. A teacherage is housing, provided by a school or city, for educators. Often, teachers that were employed were young and single, making housing difficult to afford. Therefore, to lessen financial burden, a teacherage would allow the educators to live communally. Weight: 72 lbs, 80H x 5.5D x 33.75W. Door only: 32" x 79.5"
