Description

This solid wood, 6 panel door was salvaged from a 1920's teacherage in North Carolina. The door comes with original brass hardware and jamb, measuring 33.75" x 80". Both sides of this door have a natural finish.

Salvage History: This door was salvaged from a Henderson, North Carolina teacherage, built in 1920. A school or city often provided young, single educators with safe, communal housing, known as a treacherage, to lessen their financial burden.
The salvage of this treacherage was featured on the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs", Season 8, Episode 5.
