Fire Door, 30" x 83", Vintage, Chicken Wire Glass, Bright Red! Salvage

This interesting door was salvaged from a high school in Pennsylvania. The clad-metal door features bright, glossy red paint and a single window with chicken wire glass. We currently have 2 doors in stock; one door is missing the chicken wire window pane. The door is metal clad, as it was designed to be a fire door. Brass pulls and part of the original hinge included.

Condition: Good condition for age and use. Allover paint scuffs and chips. Due to the age of the door, we assume the door would not meet current fire code standards. One door is missing the chicken wire glass panel.

History: This door was salvaged from Youngwood High School, built in 1917 in Youngwood, Pennsylvania. Our crew was honored to salvage doors, chalkboards, lockers and sinks from the structure prior to its slated demolition in 2013. The salvage job was featured on the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs", Season 2, Episode 13.

Measurements: 29.75" x 83" x 1.75"
