Description
This incredible, industrial fire door was salvaged from a historic cotton mill in Jackson, Tennessee. The 9 foot door features a steel clad body and original rollers. It is 4.8 feet wide and includes 115" of track.
With the metal clad body, authentic industrial appeal and bold size, this door could be used as a door, room partition, headboard or as large piece of wall art.
Condition: Good salvaged condition. The door shows authentic and allover dents, dings, scuffs, significant paint loss and general patina.
History: The door was salvaged from the circa 1900 Bemis Cotton Mill in Jackson, Tennessee. The mill, once the heart of the town, had been vacant since 1993, yet contained many authentic, industrial artifacts. The salvage job was featured on season 4, episode 2 of the DiY network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
