Description

This incredible, industrial fire door was salvaged from a historic cotton mill in Jackson, Tennessee. The door features a steel clad body, a bold, 9 foot height and original rollers. It is 4.8 feet wide and includes 105" of box track.

The door shows a good deal of green paint loss on one side and is unpainted on the opposing side. With its metal clad body, authentic industrial appeal and bold size, this door could be used as a door, room partition, headboard or as large piece of wall art.

Condition: Good salvaged condition. Solid & sturdy, expected paint loss, patina, dents and dings as expected with age and use. The construction of the door does not meet current fire door codes.

History: The door was salvaged from the circa 1900 Bemis Cotton Mill in Jackson, Tennessee. The mill, once the heart of the town, had been vacant since 1993, yet contained many authentic, industrial artifacts. The salvage job was featured on season 4, episode 2 of the DiY network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
