Description
This industrial clothes dryer door is full of vintage, industrial detail, including a lovely, allover patina and chrome handle. It was salvaged from the circa 1935 Peacock Laundry in Salem, Virginia. This piece would make a great "port hole" window or industrial steam punk wall decor.
The door measures 45" in diameter with a latch tensioner on the hinge side of the door.

This laundry opened in 1935 and was in operation until 2000 when it merged with another laundry business that was closed in 2012. This salvage job is featured on the DIY network show "Salvage Dawgs" [Season 8, Episode 7].
