This large McKissick Trawl and Try Net Block was salvaged in Fernandida Beach, Florida. The sheave is 20 ¾" diameter and 6 ½" wide with nylon sheave. The steel block is in good condition with a stout swivel eye connector showing "McKissick", (hard to read) model number "L8B1" and "Tulsa, Okla".

Condition: This pulley block is in good condition for its age. The block has rusted in areas around the edges and corners, the sheave is in excellent shape.

Salvage History: This pulley block was salvaged off the coast of Fernandina Beach, Florida, with the help of a marine salvage diving company. Watch our very own Mike Whiteside take a dive for this treasure, and more, in Season 9, Episode 13, of the DIY Network show "Salvage Dawgs".
