Barn Door, 29" x 72", Solid Wood, Antique 1700's Virginia Cabin Salvage



This barn door was salvaged from an early 1700's cabin in Drakes Branch, Virginia. The door measures 29" wide x 72" tall. The sturdy door is comprised of 4 vertical rough-sawn boards, with horizontal bracing on one side.

Details: The door measurements are 5/8" thick x 29" wide x 72" in height. The flat side of the door is coated in a cream-colored paint, the reverse is white.

Condition: This door is in excellent condition. It is solidly built and shows some surface scuffs, scratches, dents and dings as expected with age and use.

History: This door was salvaged from a property in Drakes Branch, Virginia. Here, our crew worked to deconstruct and preserve a cabin structure from which the earliest components are dated 1703. Items from this cabin and the surrounding property are featured in Season 9, Episode 11, of the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
