Description
This beautiful cabinet is constructed of quartersawn oak and features straight, square, Craftsman lines. Designed as a built-in cabinet, the hutch offers plenty of storage: a lower cabinet with two doors, and an upper space for shelving.
The front of the hutch is constructed of quartersawn oak, the body is pine. It measures 81.5" tall, 50.75" wide and 22" deep. The face panel, or facing trim, extends 3.75" beyond the body of the hutch. The lower doors include the original brass lock and keeper. The upper space is designed to hold adjustable shelves, with sets of vertical, surface-mounted shelving pilasters with round slots. Sliding door rails are present on the inside of the upper cabinet. The medium stain and glossy finish enhance the beautiful, intricate quartersawn oak grain.

The cabinet is designed to be built-in, with a complete, finished face frame and slightly recessed sides. The unit could be built in or used as a free-standing piece as the pine sides are stained to match the face.
Condition: Very good. Solidly built hutch with all original hardware and finish. Surface may show minor surface scuffs as expected with age and use.
