Old World Iron Gate Set, Scalloped Panel, 121"H, Hand Wrought Egyptian Gate

Salvaged from Egypt, this set of 2 wrought iron gates is approximately 100-200 years old and sure to last at least another hundred. This is high quality iron, hot banded and riveted, with primarily no welds. This set has a beautiful straight top with fleur-de-lis spear finials. The exterior side of the lower, solid section of each gate has a scalloped panel applique, the opposing side of the panel is plain. The upper picketed panels are decorated with wrought scrolls at the top and bottom. The left gate is missing the lower row of decoration. As is usual with salvaged architecture of this age, cosmetic and structural flaws are present.
