Details: The piece is made of pine lumber and plywood, has 14 drawers and is coated in a dark stained finish. The 12 upper drawer fronts measure 16 1/2"(W) x 12 1/2"(H), with the interior measuring 26 1/4"(L) x 15"(W) x 6 1/2"(D). The interiors of the drawers are each divided lengthwise into 3, 4 3/4" wide, sections. These drawers are each equipped with a single vintage brass pull below a small brass label holder. The 2 lower drawer fronts measure 34"(W) x 6"(H), with the interior measuring 26 1/2"(L) x 32 1/2"(W) x 5 1/4"(D). These drawers are also equipped with a pair of matching vintage brass pulls. The front of the cabinet, left side, and the forwardmost section of the top are all finished, while the rear of the top, right side, and backing have been left natural and unfinished. The 30 1/2"(L) x 76 1/2"(W) top overhangs the front and left side of the cabinet and sits flush along the right side.
Condition: This cabinet is in good condition with some surface scuffs, scratches and dings in areas on and around the drawers, where the plywood has chipped, splintered, and separated from the piece.
History: This cabinet was salvaged from the former location of Roanoke Printing Company in downtown Roanoke, Virginia, as the circa 1929 building is prepared to be converted to lofts.
