Door Set, 40" x 91.25", Narrow, Ornate 3 Lite Pair, Estate Salvage



These lavishly painted doors are shaped like a drink of water -- tall and slim. The doors once stood at the end of a grand hall, or ballroom of the Livingston, New Jersey mansion, the "Kean Estate". The front of the doors are painted off white with navy and gold detail, while the other side is solid off-white. Ornate, gold tone hinges are included. Add these to your home for some instant glamour.

Condition: Very good. Sturdy construction, all glass intact, some paint chipping.

History: This column was salvaged from the Kean Estate, a 17,000 square-foot mansion set atop the highest point in Livingston, New Jersey. This Georgian style stone mansion was the original home of 10-term U.S. Congressman Robert W. Kean, father of former Governor Thomas Kean. The Kean Estate, and items from it, is featured on Episode 6, Season 11, of the DIY Network Show, "Salvage Dawgs".
