Dresden Hanging Parlor Lamp, Moon



Dresden brand Victorian parlor pendant lamp. Originally an oil lamp, this light has since been converted to electric. The font of this light is brass. The glass dome shade of this fixture features hand painted autumn foliage in front of a "moon. Inside the moon, a delicate winter scene is portrayed. This lamp includes spear prisms that hang along the shade band and upper prism band. (A few prisms are now missing.) This light was salvaged from a Victorian style house in Salem, Virginia. Built in 1886, this 4000 square-foot house had been converted to apartments under previous ownership. Under new ownership, this residence is being converted back to a single-family home. This house is featured on season 8 episode 12 of the DiY Network show "Salvage Dawgs".

Hanging dimensions: 50"H x 17"D 11 lbs. Without the chain, lamp measures 20"H. Shade itself is 14" D.
