10 Foot Copper Clad Roof Portico, Kannapolis NC Salvage

This 10-foot wide wooden portico is sheet clad with copper that has weathered or oxidized into a beautiful green patina. The wooden face and sides of this piece are painted beige and have decorative molding. The soffits of each piece vary, one has holes cut for lighting, the other do not. Hardware is not included.

History: This portico was salvaged from the exterior of the "K-Town" furniture building in downtown Kannapolis, North Carolina, as the city prepared for an intensive downtown revitalization project. Items from this job are featured on Season 9, Episode 1, of the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
