Fabulous Folk Art Plane by the reknowned artist Benny Carter. Binford "Benny" Carter began painting in 1991 after being laid off from his job at a copper mill in Pine Hall, North Carolina. Benny first began painting scenes of rural North Carolina in a primitive style. As he continued painting his work began to take on more and more detail. Benny's art has been featured in several books and national museums such as the American Visionary Museum of Art In Baltimore, Md, Palmer Museum of Art, Pennsylvania State University, the University of Michigan Art Museum, and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art, Montgomery Alabama.
