This two hour class will afford you the opportunity to update your lamp using Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint. Whether your table lamp is wood, ceramic, plaster, brass, iron or metal, you can use our paint line to give it a complete makeover. You will be able to work with Swooz to choose a custom mixed color so be sure to bring a color swatch.
All materials will be provided in this two hour studio class. Prerequisite for this class is the introductory class.
You must completely clean your lamp before class. We suggest using TSP to clean your piece. Do not use dishwashing soap, oil based soaps, or spray cleaners. Clean your piece until you no longer get any dirty water in your bucket.
Swooz will discuss and demonstrate how to rewire a lamp and provide you with step by step instructions and handouts on the process.
