This elegant semi flush mount ceiling fixture was salvaged from the Robert E. Lee Hotel in Lexington, Virginia. The 10" milk glass globe features a simple, tapered silhouette with etched Greek empire style detail. The glass globe has a satin finish decorated by three etched Greek urns and garlands, trimmed by an etched wave design. The fixture has original manufacturer's labels within the canopy, reading "W.B. Catlett Electric Co." and model number "2680". The light was manufactured by W.B. Catlett Electric Company of Richmond, Virginia, in operation from 1920-1925. Condition: Glass globes have no chips, cracks or repairs. The urn decoration shows significant or complete surface paint loss, leaving the beautiful, etched design upon the globe. The canopy is sturdy, has original set screws and may show minor or allover ceiling paint from the hotel. The lights have original wiring and will need to be rewired. Salvaged from the Robert E. Lee Hotel in Lexington, VA, as seen on "Salvage Dawgs" season 1, episode 3. Overall Measurements: 10"H x 10"L x 10"W, Globe is 7" in height with a 4" fitter. Weight: 3 lbs.
