Description

This incredibly charming, 11.25" tall, Victorian gingerbread spandrel features 2" diameter beehive-like spool spindles spaced every 4 3/8" from each other. Constructed of pine, it is coated in white chippy and crazed paint. The bottom rail has double beading running along the center of both sides. This gingerbread is in good condition and remains quite sturdy for its age.
This trim was salvaged from a circa 1902 Queen Anne Victorian house in Timberville, Virginia, known locally as the John Hoover House. The house and items from it are featured on Season 10, Episode 11, of the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
Measurements: 11.25"H x 2"W x approx. 105"L, 30 lb.
