Dual-square-ended European style 5 1/2-foot (6 foot from outside end to end) cast-iron bathtub with original plumbing and fleur-de-lis claw feet. The rectangular shape of this tub makes it extremely rare. Almost all antique double-ended tubs on the market have curved ends that slope outward from the bottom of the tub; however, the ends of this tub are straight and extend from the bottom of the tub at a 90-degree angle. The interior depth of this European style tub measures 18 ½-inches. The tub includes the original center-fill plumbing, featuring a low, side-filling inlet, allowing water to fill from the bottom, up. The original fleur-de-lis eagle claw feet have been painted white. The exterior of the tub displays a beautiful hand painted floral frieze on a white background on 3 sides, including the artist's initials, "MW", below the 3-inch roll-top. This tub was made in America during the early 1900's by Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company. Item Measurements: 72H x 31W x 25D 450 lb.
