Valve Handwheel, Orange, 16" - EVALV2



This cast-iron valve handwheel is an excellent accessory to add a bit of industrial or steampunk style to any project or space! Coated in significantly worn and flaked orange paint, exposing a lower teal layer and natural iron below, this wheel has a 16" outer diameter, 6 spokes, and a 3/4" square hub. The manufacturer, Powell, and an open indicator are embossed into one side of the wheel. This wheel was salvaged from the power house of the former Rock Hill Printing and Finish Company facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Known as "The Bleachery" to locals, the facility was comprised of 6 buildings, the earliest dating back to 1925, and a reservoir. The power house, and items from it, are featured on Season 10, Episode 7, of the DIY Network Show, "Salvage Dawgs". Weight: 18 lbs. Item Measurements: 16.25(L) x 1.5(W) x 16.25(H)
