Vintage Brass Claw Foot Casters, Pair, 1 3/8"

These furniture casters are a fabulous way to protect your vintage furniture while adding class and elegance! Set of 2 cast brass lion clawfoot casters comprised of a finely detailed cast brass lion's paw measuring 2 5/8"(L) x 2 1/4"(W) x 1 5/8"(H) with a well-aged patina and a narrow iron post extending from the bottom of the foot holding the solid brass 1 3/8" diameter swiveling caster. When in place on a piece, the foot sits roughly 2" from the floor. The back of the foot has a 1 3/8" square opening in which the foot of a piece would be inserted. A screw hole is present on the left and right side of the foot for mounting. A 1 1/4" tab with additional holes for mounting extends from the rear of the foot. This set is in excellent salvaged condition. The casters roll and swivel smoothly. These casters were picked from an antique dealer and collector's warehouse in historic Providence Forge, Virginia.
