Steel wagon wheel and rear axle assembly. The wheels have a diameter of 41", with 3" rims, and have smooth rolling hubs. The axle is a 1 ¼" square rod. The entire width of the assembly is roughly 74 ½". From inside hub to inside hub, the axle is 52 ½". This assembly is in good condition with rusty patina and was acquired from a family farm with a rich historic background in Yorktown, Virginia. Initially a settlement for the Native American Kiskiack Tribe until the 1600's when Poquoson Parish was founded, later known as Charles Parish.
