Description
This cross-brace barn door was salvaged from the "Ludwig Mansion", a 1949 estate in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The solid wood door is 78.25" tall, featuring a sturdy Z-style cross brace, supporting the sturdy wood panel. The opposite side of the door is finished bead board.
Condition: Good condition. Surface scuffs, scratches, and patina present, as expected with age and use.
History: The doors were salvaged from a barn on the property of the Esther Ludwig Farm and Mansion in Hamburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The mansion was removed as the property was prepared for a new development. Items from this job are featured on Season 7, Episode 2 of the DIY Network show "Salvage Dawgs".
