Additional Shipping Information
At our online store, you can shop Black Dog Salvage from anywhere, 24/7! When you place an order online, you can either come to our store in Roanoke, VA, to pick it up, or we will ship it to you. If you would like to request a shipping quote for a specific item, click here. Orders are typically mailed Monday through Friday via the U.S. Postal Service, UPS, or through freight carriers for over-sized items. The customer is responsible for filing a claim with the USPS, UPS, or Packaging Store regarding any damage to you item in shipment. Damage must be reported within 7 days.
This option includes shipping, non-expedited shipping based on the size and weight of your items, and it is available within the continental United States ONLY.
Additional shipping options are available for an additional charge.
If you would like to pick up your purchase in store, all items MUST be picked up within 7 days of the original purchase date, otherwise, additional fees will apply. When selecting this option, please note the date you intend to make the pick-up in the Questions & Comments box at the bottom of that page. Black Dog Salvage does not provide packing/loading supplies for pick up. Black Dog Salvage will assist in loading purchased items into your vehicle, but you are responsible for all necessary supplies and materials needed to secure items for transit. Black Dog Salvage does not offer installation.
If the order shipping address is outside of the continental United States, then you need to select this option. International shipping charges will apply which are generally higher than shipping within the continental United States.
Tracking Your Shipment
After your order is processed and shipped, you will receive an email from Black Dog Salvage with a PDF attached containing your tracking information. When you receive the email, open the PDF receipt to find clickable tracking information for your shipment to see how and when your order is expected to arrive. Please allow some time for the status of the shipment to correctly display, as this may take up to 24 hours.
Handling fees are factored into the shipping price for items which require extra care and/or additional materials when packaging.

In-store purchases: Buyers are encouraged to inspect each item for condition and completeness (such as pieces, parts, or accessories). Buyer is solely responsible to provide any personnel, equipment or materials needed to pick up purchases and shall assume any and all responsibility for the removal of any item of property purchased at the sale and any and all risks associated with such removal. Absolutely no allowances are made for claims or shortages after completion of sale.
Online purchases: Within text and images, Black Dog Salvage makes every effort to describe each item as well as the visible defects that we can see. All processing done for Black Dog Salvage, Inc. is done by third party providers in order to process a charge. In any case, we will never ask for your social security number. In some cases, certain clients may ask us to keep their credit card information on file to facilitate future payments or purchases.
