Description
The elegant, cast stone mantel measures 7 feet wide and 5 feet tall. It has an arched firebox, molded ornamentation and a 7 3/4" deep mantel shelf. The mantel features raised panels on the header, integrated molding around the firebox opening and a custom finish of a subtle shimmer atop brown paint.
Condition: Good condition with minor surface chips, scuffs, and scratches in the finish. Prior to removal, composite appliques were glued to the center of the header, on each edge below the shelf, and inside of each triangular panel. These have since been removed, leaving traces of adhesive in their place.
Weight and Measurement Details:
The components of this mantel were partially recessed in a wall when in place; roughly 1 1/2" for the legs and lower components of the header, leaving about 1 1/2" of the sides exposed, not including molding. A detailed list of the sizes and conditions of each of the 23 total pieces comprising this mantel has been compiled and is available upon request.
All measurements are approximate as some grout has been removed prior to taking measurement, while some is still intact. Grout measured roughly 1/8".
