This one-of-a-kind console table was custom fabricated in our shop using a salvaged, cast iron machine base and a cherry top. The top is crafted from a solid live edge cherry slab with a naturally contoured edge. Supporting the slab is a striking cast iron industrial machine base. The base features a sculptural, angular profile and retains its original maker’s plaque reading “A.T. Hagen Rochester NY Chicago,” an American industrial machinery manufacturer active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The substantial metal form contrasts beautifully with the warmth of the cherry, creating a balanced industrial-modern aesthetic.
A thoughtful detail sets this piece apart: a discreet, hidden swing-out catch-all tray tucked beneath the tabletop. Perfect for keys, mail, or small everyday essentials.
