24" W x 30" H, rectangular iron frame, known as a chase. This is used by printers to hold type in a letterpress. This chase has an interior measurement of 21 ½" W x 27 ½" H.
This frame was salvaged from the former location of Roanoke Printing Company in downtown Roanoke, Virginia, as the circa 1929 building is prepared to be converted to lofts.
