Description
This vintage, oak barrow reel base was manufactured by Oshkosh Tools for use in the power transmission industry. A barrow reel is employed in pole line construction for carrying a coil or wire upon a wire barrow. This is a base frame of a #900 barrow reel assembly manufactured by Oshkosh Tools. It is constructed of oak hardwood coated in black paint.
The clean, functional lines and authentic industrial history make this oak a perfect, sturdy table base!
Condition: Good condition with expected weathered and worn patina from use over an extended period. Of the four bases we have in stock currently, the finish has worn off almost completely from one, and one is missing the bearing rod.
