Description
This nautical copper hanging lantern is intact with all five pieces of glass, the oil fount or tank, wicking, and glass chimney or globe. The top opens and the glass and globe can be removed for cleaning. The oil fount can be removed from the bottom for ease of refilling. There is a vent on the lid that can be opened when the lantern is lit.
The lantern is in good condition and has a lovely aged patina. On the top, there is a bare spot that looks like there might have been a maker's label that has since been removed (see photos). There are no cracks in the glass but one piece has a small chip on a corner. It isn't visible from outside the lantern. The globe is in good condition with no visible chips or cracks.
