Description
This pair of stadium chair were salvaged from the Cassell Coliseum at Virginia Tech. The seats are the original seats installed in the coliseum when it opened in 1962 until the seats were upgraded in 2017.
Cassell Coliseum has served as the front door to athletics from the heart of campus since its opening in 1962 and is an important hub of both daily and gameday activity at Virginia Tech.
The chairs feature beautifully finished natural wood with a cast steel frame, painted black. The seats have brass stamped tags on top of each backrest, numbers 9 and 11. The chairs have custom aluminum fabricated legs, allowing them to be free standing. Weight: 72 lbs.
