Description

This huge, oversized framed photo print is a vintage image of two handsome men presenting their pigs at a 4H function at the West Virginia Institute in the 1920's. The black and white photo has taken on a warm, sepia tone as a result of the print imposed upon a plywood panel. The beautiful, sturdy panel measures 60" wide x 120" tall.

Condition: Good, salvaged condition with minor surface scratches and scuffs to the plywood and surrounding frame. Originally designed and created for commercial use, the photo has been expertly imposed and beautifully rendered.

History: This piece was salvaged from a barbecue restaurant at The Boulevard at the Capital Centre in Largo, Maryland. This restaurant and items from it are featured on Season 10, Episode 12, of the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
