Description

This is a circa 1950s Aluminum Dual Floodlight manufactured by Crouse-Hinds Co. Syracuse New York, USA. This salvaged light was once in use on a Norfolk Southern RR "wreck car" crane.
The unit consists of two articulated lamps with clear, fluted glass lenses, each with the original Crouse-Hinds logo. The articulated lamps are positioned on an aluminum frame with a bracket for mounting on a vertical post. Included are 24", attached male and female adapters, two 18-foot 10-3-S power cords with Hubbel 30A/250V Twist Lock with both male/female receptacles, and one A18 9/16" Key for setting lamp angle.

Condition: Lenses are original, with no cracks or fractures, small surface scuffs and scratches. Aluminum fixtures show some oxidation, and have surface scratches, minor dents, label maker tape, and minimal rust (wing nut). Wiring and bulbs are currently untested. Casing of one power cord is dry with significant cracks. Missing one large domed screw for electrical box. See pictures.
