Description
Model 4B049 direct-drive poultry fan with 48" propeller manufactured by Dayton.
Salvaged from the Valleydale Packers plant in Salem, VA, this fan has surface rust and oxidation present in areas throughout the galvanized housing from use over a long period. Rust has also formed on the motor housing and parts of the propeller shaft and hub where the protective finish has flaked and worn off. The grille is dented and bent in areas.
This fan has not been tested at the 230V required to run the fan but functioned with lower RPMs at 120V. It is not guaranteed to function without repair. The plug will need replacement as it has been modified.
