Door, 34" x 80.75", Solid Wood, 4 Panel Door, Antique Salvage

1 3/8" x 33 7/8" x 80 ¾" wooden 4 vertical panel door. Built with mortise and tenon construction, each recessed panel is surrounded by decorative trim. This door is currently compatible with rim-lock and knob hardware as made evident by pre-existing holes in the door. One side of the door is painted white with green panels. The rails and stiles of the opposing side are skillfully painted to resemble natural wood, the panels are painted to resemble a burl. This door is in fair condition. There are small holes in the center stile and a damaged strip of trim in an upper panel of the faux wood side of the door. The edges of the door have scuffing and wear from heavy use.

This door was salvaged from a turn of the century apartment located above a store in downtown Wheeling, West Virginia.
