Description
Fixed fluted glass window in frame salvaged from the offices of the Valleydale Packers plant in Salem, Virginia. The 4.5" deep jamb is constructed of walnut. One side of the jamb has a walnut sill and trim, the opposing side has an oak sill, lining, and trim.
This window is in good salvaged condition, some repairs will be necessary as a piece has broken from the right side of the walnut sill. A shallow gouge is present along the face of the oak sill. The top board of the jamb is cracked above the oak side of the window. Width of the jamb varies from 43" along the bottom to 42.875" at the top. Minor scratches, dents, finish loss and discoloration are present in areas throughout the exposed parts of the frame.
