* Includes Privacy Thumb turn Our Reproduction Privacy Mortise Lock with Thumb turn and 2 1/2-Inch Backset was inspired by those used during the early 20th century on bedroom and bathroom doors. It features a 5/32" thick solid-brass face plate with a steel case and interior components.
The set includes a solid brass thumb turn with oval escutcheon but can also be used with privacy backplates. Reversible for left or right-hand doors.
Dimensions:
Faceplate: 5 1/4" T x 15/16" W x 3/16" thick.
Strike Plate: 3 7/8" T x 15/16" W with 1/2" tongue.
Lock Box: 3 9/16" T x 9/16" W x 3 1/8" D.
The backset is 2 1/2"
Thumb turn: 1 3/8" H x 3/8" Thick.
Base: 1 3/4" H x 3/16" W x 1/16" Thick.
Center to center spacing from thumb turn to knob hub: 2 1/4".
Knob hub fits spindle sizes: 7mm, 8mm, and 9/32".
