Pair of salvaged, latching, iron strap hinges, 53.5" long when open. Each hinge comes with a latch and hook, making them a solid choice for double barn doors or gates. Heavy, rustic, and built to last.
Composed of iron, one has a hinged end with a loop, the other has a hook and slot through which, the loop from the hinged leaf is inserted to latch.
Each hinge has 4 mounting holes. The pins are not included and can be replaced with relative ease. One hinge has traces of white paint, while the other has remnants of red paint. Both are coated in surface rust and pitting. One strap has a minor, gradual bend, and may need flattening. Measurements:
The hinge with the loop measures 56"L x 2"W. The hinged leaf at the end of this strap is 8 1/2" long.
