Description
This interesting wooden roller with an iron axle was salvaged from an old apple barn in Winchester, Virginia. The roller shows a weathered, worn patina from regular agricultural use.
This roller is ready to be repurposed as an authentic agricultural element within a new piece, perhaps a lamp base!
Condition; Good for age and use. The axle has a coating of surface rust. Wood has a worn, weathered appearance.
History: This roller was salvaged from a barn destined for demolition in Winchester, Virginia. This barn contained many pieces of vintage orchard equipment. Items from this job are featured in Season 9, Episode 10, of the DIY Network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
