Description
Before there were nuts and bolts, cotter pins were used to mount handles. This style of pull is still used today to create an old world look. The pins pass thru mounting holes to hold the handle in place. Once thru the mounting holes, the legs of the pins are splayed while the last 3/8" of the pins are bent and hammered into the drawer to secure the handle.
